A fresh Lenten curriculum for 2022 from your District Superintendent, Rev. Steven C. Morton and 7 North District Ordained Elders:
“Admittedly, father-daughter relationships are among the least developed stories in the biblical narrative, with daughters often isolated as the most absent member of the family, or overwhelmed (even victimized) within a largely patriarchal culture. Our study does not look for any “common theme” within these stories, but rather aims to familiarize ourselves with various accounts of father-daughter narratives: to learn, to be challenged, perhaps to enjoy! ‘And within the dialogue among ourselves, no doubt to reveal some of our own family dynamics which play a role in our Christian discipleship today.”
